Welcome! I'm Victoria Solomon, writer by day and artist by night.
Here you'll find my thoughts about the writing process, odes to my latest book crush, and sketches.
I spend most of my days caring for my two young children, who rock my world and slay the house. In my seven minutes of free time, I pen YA novels about blood-sweating horses and forbidden love.
I worked as a print journalist for five years, and then as a writer for the children's education company Orda Korea in South Korea. In Seoul, in addition to developing an intense addiction to kimchi, I edited storybooks based on the Emmy-award winning PBS show WordWorld. Currently, I ghostwrite for Pearson Education.
I live in East Lansing, Michigan, with my spouse, Mr. Present Perfect, who wields laser-sharp editing skills and a slew of horrendous puns that only get worse with age.
